Jenx Product Course for Therapy Professionals
Venue: Jenx Head Office, Sheffield
The Jenx UK Product Course is aimed at therapists, therapy assistants and classroom assistants.
The course covers basic child development and how Jenx products are designed to aid development in children. 24 hour positioning is discussed and the afternoon is given to learning about the products in the Jenx range, how to adjust them and use them to give a secure starting position for functional movement as part of a child's therapy programme. There are a maximum of 15 people on the course to allow plenty of time for individual questions and to give everyone a chance to get their hands on the products.

The course is free but we ask for a deposit of £25 by cheque to secure your place. The deposit will be refunded to you when you attend.If you do not attend and do not notify us at least 5 working days before the course, the deposit will not be refunded to you.
The course commences at 9.30 a.m. with registration between 9.00 and 9.30 a.m. (drinks, cookies and pastries available from 9.00 a.m.) and usually finishes at 4.30 p.m. A light buffet lunch and refreshments are provided (please let us know of any special dietary requirements at least 14 days prior to the course).

Rifton Product Course for Therapy Professionals

Following on from the success of the Jenx One Day Product Course and requests from therapists that we run a training course covering Rifton products, we are pleased to invite you to attend the “Introduction to Rifton Equipment Day”.
The courses, which will be held at our Head Office in Sheffield, are on the following dates:

Tuesday 9th November 2010
The Programme will consist of Presentation and “Hands-on” sessions which include the following products from the Rifton range:
• Pacer Gait Trainer
• Dynamic Stander
• Medium Prone Stander
• Blue Wave Toileting System
• Blue Wave Bathing System
• High Back Mobile Chair
• Compass Chair
With instruction on how to adjust the equipment and how to use it to give a secure starting position for functional movement as part of a child’s therapy programme.
At the end of the course, delegates can expect to understand how to assess with Rifton products, how to get the best out of Rifton products to aid development in children. The course will also explain to you how to gain further information about spare parts, assessment visits and new instructions.
The Rifton Equipment Day is available and recommended for anybody working with children i.e. a therapist, teacher, technical officer or any other person involved in using, maintaining or purchasing specialised furniture.
The day will start at 10.00 a.m. (Registration 9.30 a.m.) and will finish at 4.00 p.m. be interspersed with breaks, with good food and drink provided.
