In September Catherine attended a five-day course on “Principles of Neuro-Developmental Treatment.  The course was led by Lois Bly, a Bobath Trained Physiotherapist with much experience and was organised, busy and extremely informative.  Lois sectioned the work into clear areas including Principles of NDT, Components of movement, NDT Theoretical Assumptions, Kinesiological Considerations and typical and atypical motor development in various body areas.

Comfortable clothes were definitely the order of the day and each session was backed up with lots of gym work and also with live treatment sessions and plenty of time for discussion with other delegates.

Lois is a delightful tutor with a great sense of humour so even the very tight schedule and huge amount of course content seemed OK.  I came away with a light step and the feeling that I had participated in something very special and worthwhile.  The Jenx Product Course has had a major revision to include much of what was covered in this course.
