Ladybird & Turtle

Seating for very young children must be chosen with great care. The development of their hips and spine will be helped by the correct sitting position. Sitting with legs outstretched is the first position children adopt naturally. They are stable and legs that are stretched like this are much less likely to become tight behind the knee.

Ladybird and Turtle take this ideal one step further. By tilting the sitting surface slightly forward, children bear their weight through a support in front of them and their arms easily reach the tray. Toys and games are close to hand so children can really enjoy this therapy time. This position, Prone Sitting, helps to encourage head control and also helps to reduce reflex tightness of muscles. Ladybird is suitable for very young children and Turtle takes over as children grow out of Ladybird.

Ladybird and Turtle are easy to use and have a number of features to enhance a very young child's function.
