The first Jenx Prone Board was created 26 years ago beginning what has now become one of the most comprehensive ranges of paediatric furniture in the world.
New Jenx Prone Stander main adjustments:

Height; allows for growth or use by a range of children. Achieved by smooth gas strut action.

Angle: standing angle is crucial to each child to suit their head control, leg strength and activity. Standing angle affects many things including weightbearing and postural response. Adjustment by a continuous thread allows smooth, gentle movement from 0° to 40° which will not startle the child. The risk of back injury to carers is reduced and adjustments are possible whilst a client uses Prone Stander. The handle can be locked off, discouraging adjustment by other children or by accident

Foot position; affects weight bearing through long bones and hip joint. Sandals have a simple one bolt adjustment. Sandal raising blocks are available.

Two sizes cover ages from 3.5 to 14. The compact base, 920mm x 660mm (size 1), passes through a standard door and the swivel castors lock securely.

Versatile trunk supports adjust for height, width and angle to maintain symmetry and encourage arm function. The chest pad adjusts for height and can be brought higher than the tray if required.
Broad support straps are used for the hips and trunk. Straps have wide Velcro fastening and integral safety straps.

Hip position is maintained using highly adjustable supports. The sturdy hip strap provides extension and discourages rotation. Good hip posture reduces the likelihood of a scoliotic or curved spinal posture.

Prone Stander’s bright, clear height and angle gauges allow you to get the same height/angle every time.

Prone Stander is easy to use without compromising support. The flip up footplate option aids transfers from wheelchairs and rear-opening sandals make using the stander easy for everyone.

The removable tray is cut out to take a bowl. A wipe-clean overlay is provided offering a large area for work, play or to hold communication devices.

A plain laminate tray without cut out is available.

Prone Stander comes with a bib, hip and chest supports, tray with removable bowl, knee cups, footplate and sandals.
